Living room has two leather sofas surrounding the large 55 inch flat screen.

For more adult time, retire to the lower level bar lounge area, again with several comfortable sofas and a panoramic view of Lake Cumberland from the four large windows. Or walk out to your deck and enjoy the wonderful sunsets, or watch the boats as they pass by just a few hundred feet away.

This is luxury lake living at it’s best. The Lake house is one of the very few on Lake Cumberland that has a paved path to the lake in it’s back yard. Yes it is an easy walk down to Lake Cumberland, or put your boat in with easy access to the ramp. This Lake house also known as the Humming bird hideaway, will sleep 12 maximum. If you do have a larger group, you are in luck, because there also is a two bedroom one bath cabin right next door. This also is newly remodeled and will sleep up to 5. Since the Lake house is managed by Golden Pond Resort, just 1.5 miles away, you will also have access to all of the facilities there. Including the pool and tennis courts, as well as the horseshoes or corn hole, as well as the sandy volley ball court. The Ginger Chalet of Golden Pond Resort is located on the pond where large and small mouth Bass as well as blue gill and catfish can be found, appropriate for your vacationing pleasure. It is only one of Golden Pond Resort’s cabins by the lake that will you will surely book once you find its appealing ambiance.

Features of our Cabins by the lake

Our cabins by the lake are well-designed and well-furnished to suit anybody’s taste. All of the cabins by the lake are newly-developed deluxe vacation homes perfect for any family reunions and family gatherings.
The Ginger Chalet has a beautiful stone A-Frame has 3 BR and 2 full baths; bead board ceilings in upper bedrooms and sitting area; stone wood burning fireplace in lower living room; two sitting areas; and three decks. Upper BR has French Doors opening onto private deck overlooking the pond as well as a twin sleeper for the little ones. The upper sitting room opens onto your front deck for those warm summer nights, also has a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests. The third bedroom is small and has a bunk bed, upper twin, lower full futon. Also with a 42in. flat screen and foot ball table in the upper living room.

Lower level has open living room kitchen/dinning room combination. With fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, dishwasher, under cabinet microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Large 42 inch flat screen plus 3 other  TVs, DVD player, stereo with turn table. Washer/dryer, gas grill on rear deck. Also you can walk out to your own private fishing deck on Golden Pond.

With over 1700 sq. ft. of open, spacious living area, this is sure to meet your needs! WiFi is also available during our season but may be turned off during winter months.

Golden Pond Resort introduces the Cozy cottage, one of the cottage rentals that the resort offers to its customers. Most of the resort’s cottage rentals are standard condo units appropriate for family get-together and reunions.

The Cozy Cottage is a unit adjacent to the office with its own private entrance. It has two queen beds and one bath. Open floor plan has living room/dining room combination with 2 TVs and a DVD player. This unit also has a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishware, a dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and a large hot tub on the screened porch with a scenic view of Golden Pond. As well as a combination charcoal/gas grill. You also have your own fishing deck with loungers.

WiFi is also available in this unit, as well as dish network with the basic package. There is no sleeper sofa but there is plenty of room for a blowup mattress which we do have on hand included in the extra person fee.
